Stories with the Power of Kindness
Sherry is an award-winning author, member of the Dog Writer’s Association of America and the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. She has been the Executive Director of K9sPLUSKIDS, a volunteer therapy dog program at public and private schools, enhancing the lives of children, especially those with learning disabilities. Sherry has raised many service dogs over the past twenty years, and would never be without a Labrador retriever of two, in the family.
We call these dogs “heroes” because of the work they do. This is a living tribute to the extraordinary dedication and courage of dogs and people—showing us how one person’s life can be dramatically changed by the love and help of a dog.
